New Delhi, October 9, 2024 — The highly anticipated anime adaptation of the popular manga series “The Blue Wolves of Mibu” is set to premiere on streaming platforms this October. Created by Tsuyoshi Yasuda, the manga has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since October 2021. Following the completion of its first arc in April 2024, the story continues with the Shinsengumi arc, which began the same month.
The narrative intertwines the rich historical backdrop of samurai culture with intense action, focusing on the poignant struggles of an orphan navigating a world marked by upheaval and loss. Set in 1863, during a pivotal period of transformation in Japan, the story unfolds against a backdrop of war and political unrest, as tensions rise between masterless ronin and government samurai.

His journey takes a pivotal turn when he encounters Hijikata Toshizo and Okita Souji, key figures destined to influence the revolution as founding members of the infamous Miburo, later known as the Shinsengumi.
