In a highly anticipated event, Dragon Ball: Daima will debut its English dub in U.S. theaters, featuring an exclusive screening of the first three episodes. This special theatrical release is set for November 10, 11, and 12, and will be shown in hundreds of cinemas nationwide. This collaboration between Toei Animation and Fathom Events aims to bring fans an exciting cinematic experience.
The announcement of Dragon Ball: Daima came in October 2023, marking it as the first installment in the Dragon Ball franchise to be released following the passing of renowned creator Akira Toriyama earlier this year. Toriyama contributed to the storyline, which follows Goku and his friends as they are transformed into children due to a nefarious attack.
The anime is directed by Aya Komaki and Yoshitaka Yashima, with Yuko Kakihara handling the series composition and script. Toei Animation is responsible for the animation, while Crunchyroll will begin streaming the series with English subtitles on October 11.
The plot centers around a conspiracy that shrinks Goku and his companions. Fans are eager to discover the adventures that await Goku, Supreme Kai, and new characters Glorio and Panzy in the mysterious “Demon Realm.”
