Following a special early release in select locations on October 4, 2024, the film will be available in theaters nationwide from October 6-7, 2024. Look Back tells the emotional story of two young women, Fujino and Kyomoto, who dream of becoming manga artists. Their journey begins when they meet as students, with Fujino standing out as the more talented of the two, sparking feelings of inadequacy in Kyomoto. Despite this initial tension, the pair grow closer, supporting and challenging each other as their artistic skills develop. The film chronicles their relationship from childhood through college, highlighting how they influence each other’s lives and artistic growth.
