“Good Bye, Dragon Life” Anime Set for October 10 Premiere with New Cast Announcements

The highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of Good Bye, Dragon Life, based on Hiroaki Nagashima’s popular fantasy light novel series, is set to debut in Japan on October 10, 2024. This announcement comes from the anime’s official website, which also revealed two new voice cast members.

Joining the cast are Hisako Kanemoto and Ruri Asano, both set to voice key characters connected to Dolan, the protagonist, in his previous life before reincarnation. Kanemoto, known for her role as Ika Musume in Squid Girl, will voice the character Mylal, while Asano, a VTuber and voice actor for Karavis, will lend her voice to the ninjatype character. Asano is also recognized for her performance as Ecute in Dropkick on My Devil!.

The website also unveiled a fresh TV commercial, featuring the anime’s ending theme song, “Kimi to Mita Keshiki” (“The View I Saw With You”), performed by the twomember rock vocal unit EverdreaM. In addition to their musical contributions, EverdreaM’s Misato Matsuoka and Hitomi Sekine will voice the characters Leticia and Celina, respectively. The song will be released as the unit’s third single in Japan on November 27, 2024, accompanied by a special anime edition CD jacket.
