A TV anime adaptation of Ko Nikaido’s slice-of-life manga With You and the Rain has been officially announced for a 2025 broadcast. The series has enjoyed significant popularity, with over 500,000 copies currently in circulation. Kodansha USA publishes an official English version, which describes the story as a whimsical tale about a girl who adopts a peculiar creature that insists it’s a dog, leading to an unexpectedly eventful life.
