The eagerly anticipated anime adaptation of “Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four” has been officially announced for a 2025 release, accompanied by the unveiling of its first visual and trailer. Animated by studios GEEKTOYS and CompTown, known for their collaboration on “Migi and Dali,” the series promises a captivating journey into a fantastical realm.
The main voice cast for the anime features Yuki Ono portraying the protagonist Uchimura, alongside Konomi Kohara as the fiery Heavenly King Urumander, and Akio Otsuka in the role of the imposing Demon Overlord. These characters are vividly depicted in the first teaser visual, setting the stage for an enthralling narrative.
Directed by Michio Fukuda, with series composition by Hiroko Fukuda and character design by Ayumi Nishihata, the anime boasts a talented team. Takafumi Wada will compose the music, with Seung Deok Kim serving as assistant director and Ken Naito as art director.
“Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four” originated as a manga by Muramitsu, illustrated by Benigashira, and was licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. The story follows Uchimura Denosuke, an ordinary salaryman thrust into a perilous fantasy realm by the Demon Overlord. Offered a prestigious role as one of the Demon King’s Four Heavenly Kings, Uchimura must rely on his office worker skills and cunning to navigate this new and dangerous world.
